Volume:6
Issue:4
Abstract:

Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day Patriotic War and the one-day anti-terrorist operation can be considered not only a decisive event in the history of our statehood but also the beginning of a new stage in the history of the entire South Caucasus region. The resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through military means served as practical confirmation of the effectiveness of hybrid warfare tactics and, at the same time, demonstrated the significance of strong information, diplomatic, and political measures in achieving success. The article analyzes the role of various factors in the historical context of the thirty-five-year struggle of Azerbaijani diplomacy on the informational and political fronts in the South Caucasus region and highlights the importance of the precedent set by resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through military and political means.
